Dr. David Cunningham is the successful
young pastor of a large metropolitan church. Like any other congregation,
however, it is full of people with serious emotional problems. It
becomes obvious to David fairly quickly that he does not want the burden
of counseling them so he hires a Christian psychologist. Under his
tutorship, David recognizes his own depression and reluctantly goes to a
female therapist for treatment. Ignoring all warning signs, he
begins a journey for which he is totally unprepared. Now caught in a
downhill spiral, he must make a momentous decision. Will he choose
more tragedy or healing?
